Photo a Day Challenge: Something with F
Day 7: Something beginning with F
After a lot of thoughts and ideas that included Fat, Fit, Fat to Fit, Food, Fight and even French (sigh..!), I decided to go with something that is really close to my heart, now.
Fearless.
Yes, I think we should be a fearless bunch of people. Never to back away from a challenge, never to run away from a terrorising plot, never to hide from a big decision looming over our heads… we should take it all head-on! What will happen? We will fail.. that is it? At least we would have a proud story to tell our friends..
Scars from a challenge-filled life are the treasures accumulated.
So here is me, taking a cue from these little guys’ lives… wanting to be fearless. Facing my challenges without batting an eyelid and making it through with flying colours and hopefully with happy battle scars. 🙂 *war cry*
Photo a Day Challenge: Broken
I own about 300 pairs of earrings. They are my dearest possessions, apart from Shoes of course!
Day 6: Unfortunately, a week ago, my favourite pair of earrings broke while on a night out! *heartbreak* These are my to-party-wear, to-brunch-wear and too-elegant-to-wear pair!! Now looking for a super strong glue force to stick it back together….
Photo A Day Challenge: Paper
I am a collector of sorts. A collector of memorabilia. And not of famous people or soccer clubs, but of memories and occasions of my past. I have a little purse that has ticket stubs, restaurant bills of memorable meals, gift paper wrappers, dried flowers and letters! Remember the time when we wrote Letters? Yes, beautiful memories… Every time I start missing home or my friends or I start reminiscing about the time gone by, I open that little purse and my face lights up like a star.
Day 5: Paper.
This piece of paper is very very dear to me. I was in my final year of Graduation college and was busting my ass for a killer exam to get through a top-ranked Post-Grad school. Every Sunday was a Mock test that I had to drag myself to and the nerves would just kill me. So on one of those Mock Sunday Exam day, my little sister and the cousin wrote this amazing letter of “All the Best” to me, complete with hearts and drawings and tips to succeed. They hid it in my wallet so I would only find it once I reach the exam. And obviously, as I sat in the exam hall, stressed out, I opened my wallet and there it was… The All The Best Piece of Paper with little hearts and smileys.
It was the best Mock Exam I had given. 🙂
That Piece of Paper is very dear because it reminds me of the strength that my Family is to me.
Photo a Day Challenge: In My Cup
So I am 3 days behind in my Photo A Day challenge, but you see, I have been busy having a fabulous long-weekend holiday with the cousins in Northern Wales and Peak District! 😀 So this is me catching up!
Day 4: In my cup is this delicious and smooth Vanilla Latte by the West Cornwall Pastry Co. I have had a very mentally stressed day and we all know that only 2 things can make it all ok : Chocolate and Coffee. Since I am not much of a chocolate person ( yes, go on and gasp!), Coffee is my cup of sweet good life. One sip and you know it is all going to be ok!
So here is a cheer to that cup of joe that makes this world a better place! 🙂 *clink*
