Weekly Photo Challenge: Colour
This week’s photo challenge really excited me. I am pretty much an amateur photographer. Instead of focussing on the technical aspects of taking a photograph, (which most experts probably do) I end up capturing images of anything that catches my attention or looks pretty to me. I am not much of a bird/flower photographer, but more of an objects person. And God! I love colours.. They make a photography experience so much more fulfilling. So you will find me running towards any colourful object, camera slung around my neck, taking fervent pictures..
This is a multi-photo entry. My theme is Colours on the streets of India. These are images captured on the streets of India (Rajasthan and Goa, to be in particular). Sellers spread their colourful goodies, enticing any and every shopping addict. From colourful bangles, to mojris (a kind of leather shoes), to bedspreads, marble door knobs and puppets.. it is all there for your eye feast!
Do enjoy the vibrancy on your screens and if you wish to check out more Rajasthan street captures consisting of portraits and architecture too.. check them out on my Flickr.

What vibrant colors! Our younger daughter spent a bit of time in India a few years ago and loved it. She brought home some things with lovely colors.

I love your photos so much! Though I have been to Goa and hope to one day go to Rajashtan, these photos remind me of my beloved Delhi. Thanks for reminding me of a little piece of me I have left thousands of miles away.
